Hi, I’m Carrie — founder of PlayMotion Kids and Business + Mindset Coach for mission driven entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders. I’m so glad you’re here.

My work has always centered around helping people grow — whether that's advocating for families in the foster care system, helping children discover the joy of movement, or coaching adults stepping into their next chapter with clarity and confidence.

Through PlayMotion Kids, I bring movement, mindfulness, and music into schools and childcare centers, helping kids build confidence, self-regulation, and resilience through play. I also mentor educators, creative entrepreneurs, and changemakers who are ready to create sustainable businesses and lives filled with purpose and joy.

My Journey

My path started in social services, where I spent more than a decade advocating for children and families. There, I saw firsthand how stress, trauma, and disconnection affect both kids and adults — and I realized how powerful movement, mindfulness, and supportive systems could be in building resilience and growth.

I also know the struggle on a personal level. Balancing an emotionally demanding career with motherhood left me anxious and stretched thin. Discovering yoga and mindfulness changed everything — giving me tools to manage my well-being, find balance, and lead with confidence. That transformation became the foundation of my life’s work.

Over the years, I’ve blended lived experience with professional training:

• Earning degrees in psychology, business, and social work

• Becoming a certified happiness and mindfulness coach

• Certified Non-Profit Professional and Certified Volunteer Administrator

• Practicing yoga since 2007, earning my RYT-200 in 2020 and Youth Exercise Certification in 2025

This unique mix of knowledge and experience is what I now bring to both children’s programs and business coaching. My mission is simple: to help people grow with clarity, confidence, and joy.
